Mike Turner, 27 of Cleveland, OH is sitting in the Franklin county correctional unit for a robbery attempt gone bad late Wednesday night. Mr. Turner bombarded the Chili’s in Columbus Ohio right before close with panty hose on his head and a frilly tooth pick in his hand demanding cash and credit card receipts from the servers. After he made his way through most of the smoking section, Waiter, Charles Perkins of Westerville had a very clever idea, he took off running from the robber and the robber gave chase instantly. Mr. Perkins led him through the bar, then to the no-smoking section, around the car side carry out and into the kitchen. The robber could not navigate the funky liquid on the floor and immediately came crashing down face first into the clogged up drain. Right after the crash Juan Rodriguez the head cook jumped on his back and started pounding him in the head with a cast iron Queso pan. Mr. Rodriguez said, “Sometimes a man just needs a whooping”.  Mr. Perkins told 86BadTips reporter Marvin seemore “I knew he didn’t have slip resistant shoes and if I could just get him in the back he would come down fast”. Many people are calling Mr. Turner a hero. He just thinks he was a regular dude doing what a regular dude would do to keep his money where it belongs, at the neighborhood bar. Mr. Turner could face 27 hours in county jail for armed robbery with an annoying weapon. Hopefully the bad guys learns something from this experience, don’t mess with a server, until you walk a mile in his shoes. Until next time, 86BadTips will keep an ear out. We report, you laugh.
